The subject of the thesis was the development of a web service that allows users to watch videos stored on a server at any time. Popular and widely available technologies for building websites and displaying video on web pages were analysed, and the architecture of the service was then designed. The service provides the basic functions available in popular online services. The system was implemented using the technologies of the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS, Node.js), together with the Bootstrap and UI Router libraries.
